Being late: a sign of good mental health?

according to a recent US study, your  repeated delays may be a guarantee of success ...
The world is divided into two or so categories: those who honor the schedule of their appointments with almost infallible punctuality and those who, valid excuse or not, are always late. For a long time, this bad habit may be in the process of reviving its image, according to a study by the University of San Diego in the United States. To be late would be, according to these works, synonymous with creative intelligence and optimism.

This study, conducted by Jeff Conte, professor of psychology, was conducted on several types of personalities to show that the perception of time was specific to a typical profile. Two groups have been formed: one composed of people of type A, rather impatient, organized and competitive, and the one composed of type B people, dreamy, disorganized and creative!

Among the experiments participants were given, one of them was to evaluate the time spent after one minute. Of course, the first sample turned out to be much more accurate in its estimates. In summary, if people of the second type are always late, it is not their fault: they feel that the weather lasts longer than reality. And that, because they are more absorbed by their tasks and express their creativity more freely.

Another trait of their personality: they are less stressed, being less obsessed with waiting for others and are less prone to heart disease. They also turn out to be optimistic and unrealistic, remembering moments when they were able to tackle many things in the allotted time but obscuring those where it took them longer. From now on, you have a new reason to hate the one who made you wait: he is surely happier than you! Being late is certainly not synonymous with early but perhaps synonymous with happiness ...
